Why IFI?

All our client databases across the globe are continually and constantly "pinging" our primary database. When we update our database - automatically and simultaneously all our client databases receive the update or correction. This process is essential and what di ff erentiates IFI among patent data suppliers. Our update process is automated, ensuring reliable data synchronization. Other data sources are not automated and leave the customer to stitch together fi le-based updates, which increases the risk of synchronization errors. Roughly 1-3 million record updates are made in CLAIMS Direct on a weekly basis, all of which are checked by proprietary algorithms and conformed to our standardized patent format. Thus, our clients do not need to restructure or update the data themselves.
